Outside it’s wet and windy – but never fear: the new Barbour Anya Hindmarch collaboration is due to arrive at Seasons Clothing any day now, and we couldn't be more excited!
Not only are we one of the few stores in the UK to stock this rare and highly limited-edition range, we're also huge fans of Anya Hindmarsh's unique vision and impeccable taste. Having started designing handbags at the tender age of 18, the young Hindmarsh has gone on to win an MBE past twenty years have seen Hindmarsh combine feminine charm with a love of traditional British styling. Anya's celebrity fans include Reese Witherspoon, Kate Moss, Angelina Jolie, and even the late Princess Diana - so we know we are in good company!
After being given access to nearly 100 years' of Barbour design archives, the renowned fashion-designer has remained true to the Barbour brand's original vision: quilts and coats that keep out the cold and keep the wearer looking fabulous.
For this Barbour Anya Hindmarsh collaboration, Anya has produced a range of typically stylish but practical jackets and coats, all bearing Anya's glamorous, quintessentially British stamp, featuring details such as velvet collars and the signature Anya bow, as well as the Barbour staple, Egyptian wax cotton.
If Barbour is already an established designer range, the collaboration with Anya Hindmarsh is an ambitious, visionary step.
