Milly's of New York was established in 2001 when original founder and designer of the brand Michelle Smith returned from Paris, after learning and interning with high-end designers such as Louis Vuitton & Hermes, then returning to New York with a vision for her own label. The collection has a timeless feel, with strong intense colours and silhouettes, while still being smart, sexy and ultra-feminine, which is what any woman could want in clothing.
Michelle set out with the vision of creating clothes with rich and intense colour palletes, which is exactly how the Milly Clothing A/W 2011 collection has turned out, with rich, highly individual colours and tones including a lot of her signature "watermelon pink", which we have plenty of in store.
Milly’s designs have been so popular with women of all walks of life that Michelle feels so privileged to break free of a specific target audience age. She’s said, "we have high school girls to women in their 70's wearing my designs and shopping at my store. I think this is because of the classicism of the collection," which is an amazing feat for any designer.
Here in the store with have dresses & blouses with strong leopard print silks to knitwear, jackets and skirts, which we definitely think live up to the expectations of being timeless, smart, sexy and ultra-feminine.
